Literature Text

I step outside,
..the memories flood my soul just as the arid wind surrounds my body.

I close my eyes,
..and hear the long forgotten sound of a child\'s golden laughter.

It fills my mind,
..they caress and warm me even more than the desert sun that is on my face.

I ache,
..to recapture the moments past, they escape my desperate grasp,
..they float away from me as the small white butterfly I see fleeting by.

Sorrow,
..fearing that I may never know such innocence or happiness ever again.

That is absolutely wonderful. I could feel every emotion reading your poem. And it does leave a very bittersweet feeling inside. that is beautiful Lady Sunflower.
